Bridging the Gap for a New Generation

A Call to Retrieve Lost Souls

The **Youth Church of the Pentecost** is a landmark project initiated by His Lordship, Rt. Revd. Dr. Enoch Atuboyedia, right at the inception of his episcopacy. Inspired by the Holy Spirit to bridge the gap between the older generation and the youth, the Bishop envisioned a space where young people could be retrieved and nurtured in faith.

On December 30, 2020, the charge was given to Pastor Prince Kwani and Revd. Erasmus Thomas to pioneer this new vision. Following weeks of intense prayer and fasting, the church was officially opened on **Sunday, 17th January 2021**.

A Thriving Community

Under the dynamic leadership of its first executive team, the church achieved remarkable strides within its first few months. One of the high points included its christening as the "Youth Church of the Pentecost" on Pentecost Day, May 23, 2021, a day that also saw the first confirmation service for 32 members.

Since its inception, the church has become a vibrant center for youth development, hosting major events like the Bishop's Cup and celebrated numerous marriages and infant dedications. It continues to fulfill its mission of capturing lost souls and preparing a new generation of leaders for the Anglican Communion.
