Mission and Evangelism Vision of 2003

A Vision Realized

Our Saviour's Anglican Church, Igbiri-Ama, emerged as a direct result of the bold mission and evangelism vision of the Diocese of Okrika. On March 23, 2003, the church was officially established to serve the spiritual needs of the Korochukwu (under the palms) settlement and the wider Igbiri-Ama community.

Initially operating from a temporary site, the church was built on the collective faith of pioneers who were eager to see the Anglican mission flourish in this promising area. Over the years, the settlement has grown from a handful of compounds to a landmark location for worship and community services.

Continual Growth

Today, Our Saviour's stands as a testament to the enduring power of faith-based expansion. Integrated into the Bishop's Chaplaincy, it serves as a central point for evangelistic outreaches and continues to nurture a vibrant congregation. The church remains committed to providing spiritual leadership and a welcoming home for all who seek the Lord in Igbiri-Ama.
