The Mustard Seed of Egelebie

A Project of the MCA

St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Egelebie, is a vibrant daughter church of the historic St. Andrew's in George-Ama. The vision for this station was spearheaded by the **District Men's Christian Association (MCA)**, with the groundbreaking and early project phases initiated in 2012.

In 2013, the Bishop unveiled the church to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his consecration and enthronement. It was a momentous occasion that signaled a new era of spiritual growth for the Egelebie community.

The Mustard Seed

On **May 1, 2016** (Rogation Sunday), the church was officially christened "St. Nicholas Anglican Church" by Bishop Tubokosemie R. Abere. The theme for the christening was "The Mustard Seed", drawn from Matthew 13:31-32, symbolizing the church's humble beginnings and its potential for massive spiritual expansion.

Today, St. Nicholas remains a key station within the Bishop's Chaplaincy, continuing to impact lives and foster a community of faith that, like the mustard seed, grows stronger and more influential with each passing day.
