The Okrika Archdeaconry Evangelism Board, set up by Ven. (Dr.) B. A Obuoforibo in February 1995, was expressly mandated to revive spiritually weak churches and aggressively establish new ones where none existed. Driven by this fierce evangelical pursuit, the Board orchestrated a two-day crusade held firmly in the Community Secondary School (C.S.S) field in Okochiri.
The crusade resulted in a massive harvest of souls, and All Saints' Anglican Church, Okochiri Parish was officially established on Sunday, 28th May 1995 by Ven. B.A. Obuoforibo.
The foundation of the first church building was laid on January 18, 1997, by Ven. Adolphus A. Amabebe, eventually culminating in its completion in 2000. However, the rapidly expanding congregation inevitably demanded an immense new sanctuary.
The foundation of this vast new edifice was performed by His Lordship, Rt. Revd. Tubokosemie R. Abere JP, on November 3, 2008. Six years later, the same Bishop joyfully dedicated the completed sanctuary on November 30, 2014.
By Divine will, Okochiri Missionary Deanery was universally recognized and created on May 8, 2022, securing All Saints' Anglican Church as the paramount institutional headquarters forever.
