Our Saviour’s Church, located in Rainbow Town, Port Harcourt, was established in 2007. Initially forming part of the Amadi-Ama District alongside Bethel Church, it grew steadily through the commitment of its congregants and active outdoor evangelism.
In 2022, recognizing its spiritual maturity and expanded scope of mission work, Our Saviour's Church was officially elevated to the status of a Missionary Parish within the Okrika North Archdeaconry.
Today, the church serves a vibrant population of approximately 100 dedicated parishioners. Leadership is firmly established with a resident cleric, a Church Teacher, and an Administrative Staff ensuring both the spiritual and administrative needs of the church are met.
In faith, the congregation is currently undertaking massive infrastructure projects. Both the new church building and the parsonage project have advanced significantly and are nearing their roofing levels, symbolizing a bright future for the missionary work in Rainbow Town.
Alongside other churches in the Okrika North Archdeaconry, Our Saviour's Church maintains an active spiritual calendar featuring two Sunday services, regular revivals, Friday Bible Studies, Morning Prayers, and robust community-based programmes.
